Terms of Service

The Father's House Community Services operates a community volunteer platform that connects church members and community volunteers with individuals who need assistance with home repairs, yard work, transportation, appliances, and general help. The platform is provided as a ministry service of The Father's House church in Burnsville, Minnesota.

To use the platform, you must be at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a parent or guardian. By creating an account, you represent that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, are being used inappropriately.

You agree not to use the platform to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent needs or volunteer profiles.
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users.
• Solicit money, goods, or services outside the scope of the platform's purpose.
• Engage in any commercial activity or advertising.
• Collect personal information from other users without their consent.
• Violate any applicable local, state, or federal law or regulation.
• Post content that is offensive, discriminatory, or contrary to Christian values.

The Father's House Community Services acts solely as a facilitator connecting volunteers with individuals in need. We do not employ volunteers, supervise volunteer activities, or guarantee the quality, safety, or outcome of any services performed. All volunteer work is undertaken at the sole risk of the parties involved.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Father's House Community Services and The Father's House church disclaim all liability for any injury, loss, damage, or harm arising from volunteer activities coordinated through this platform. We strongly encourage all users to exercise appropriate care and judgment when arranging and performing volunteer services.

We recommend that volunteers carry appropriate personal liability insurance and that community members ensure their home or property is safe for visitors before scheduling volunteer assistance.

Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference.

You retain ownership of any content you post on the platform. By posting content, you grantThe Father's House Community Services a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and use that content in connection with operating the platform. You represent that you have the right to post any content you submit and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.

The platform's design, branding, and original content are the property of The Father's House and may not be reproduced without permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use the platform will immediately cease.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes by posting a notice on the platform. Your continued use of the platform after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Dakota County, Minnesota.
